WANDERLIST 2016: Stepping Out of Our Comfort Zone
It is always the best to recall golden memories you shared with the people you love than recalling the times you spent your money with worldly things that depreciates in time. Carlo and I started this blog for the sake of keeping our memories and experiences alive. Like, anytime we could go back to each adventure that we had together and just simply keeping them vividly fresh in our hearts and minds.
Having that said, Carlo and I prepared this wander-list for the year 2016. And we will challenge ourselves to save money for travelling and later on just seize the day. Also, we made this list for goal-setting purposes. It’s not in any order of priority:
- Be amazed with Hinatuan Enchanted River (Surigao del Sur)
- Reconnect with nature in Sagada (Mountain Province)
- Witness the sea of clouds in Mt. Pulag
- Camp-out in remote island of Zambales
- See the beauty of Tanay (Rizal)
- Survive the waves of Baler (Aurora)
- Experience the night life in Puerto Galera (Oriental Mindoro)
- Hike the majestic Pico de Loro (Batangas)
- Discover Buscalan (Kalinga) and meet Wang Od
- Explore the beauty of Coron (Palawan)
We as lovers, wanted to see together how beautiful the world is. We wanted to see it in our own eyes and conquer it through our own feet (and of course, own money!) You might wanna ask why, here’s my answer: there’s always something fulfilling whenever you travel and discover the world with your own eyes and money, not just that, but you’ll be able to discover more of yourself and your partner as well. Carlo and I aren’t the type of people that cares about worldly things/material stuff. We’re more like investing into memories and keeping it lasts for a lifetime. Our ultimate goal is to remind ourselves to really live each day and to take the time to appreciate both the big and the small moments that make it special.
With travelling, you will be able to conquer the fears within you. You might also be wondering why the list is just consisting of local trips well because: we wanted to see the Philippines’ finest spots and even the hidden gems. And also, we don’t have yet enough money (we’re still college students!) for conquering the world itself but someday we will. *pinky promise*
